What does the tour consist of?
A live two-actor comedy performance set against a 75-minute sightseeing route through London’s most iconic landmarks – all aboard a vintage open-top Routemaster bus. Checkout our video trailer for more info.
How long is the tour?
Approximately 75 minutes. Tour times may vary with traffic.
What sights will the bus pass on the tour route?
The tour cruises past Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, The Shard, OXO Tower, and the London Eye. Some points may not always be visible due to road closures, but we will try to let you know beforehand.
What is the closest tube station to the Tour?
Charing Cross is the nearest station, Embankment tube station is also just a short walk away. You can find the pickup point on the map here.
What time should I arrive at the bus stop?
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Can I pay at the bus stop?
Yes, but we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment, our shows get busy!
Please also note we do not accept cash payments at the bus.
Are there any age restrictions?
No, all ages are welcome. Children under 5 may board for free, provided they sit on an adult’s lap.
My child is under 5 years old, can they come onboard?
All ages are welcome. Children under 5 may board for free, provided they sit on an adult’s lap. There is no need to book tickets for children under 5, just bring them along with a paying adult.
Can I reserve a specific seat?
All seats are guaranteed a top-deck seat, however specific seats on the top-deck are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
Are your pick-up and drop-off points the same?
Yes, the tour starts and ends at 8 Northumberland Ave, London, WC2N 5BY, unless otherwise stated.
Is there space on the bus to store my wheelchair or stroller?
Unfortunately, due to the design of the 1960s Routemaster buses, we are unable to safely store wheelchairs or strollers on board. However if you call us before you book we will try our best to accommodate you.
Are animals allowed on The Classic Tour?
Pets are not permitted, except for service animals. Please inform us in advance if you’ll be bringing a service animal so we can notify our team.
Can I change the date and time of my tour?
Yes, we’d be happy to help reschedule your booking to another available date and time. Let us know what you have in mind using the contact details below.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, just bring your ticket on your phone that shows your ORD booking confirmation number.
What should I do if the weather is bad?
We run our tours in every weather, if it’s raining we will try our best to provide ponchos for those who wish to sit on the upper deck. You may also use the lower deck of the bus to stay dry during the show.
